Board of Directors

Evergreen Estates Homeowners Association, Inc.

President
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors; shall see that orders and resolutions of the Board are carried out; shall sign all leases, mortgages, deeds and other written instruments and shall co-sign all checks and promissory notes.

Vice-President
The Vice President shall act in the place and stead of the President in the event of his absence, inability or refusal to act, and shall exercise and discharge other such duties as may be required of him by the Board.

Secretary
The Secretary shall record the votes and keep minutes of all meetings and proceedings of the Board and of the members; keep the corporate seal of the Association and affix it on all papers requiring said seal; serve notice of meetings of the Association together with their addresses, and shall perform such other duties as required by the Board.

Treasurer
The Treasurer shall receive and deposit in appropriate bank accounts all moneys of the Association and shall disburse such funds as directed by resolution of the Board of Directors; shall sign all checks and promissory notes of the Association; keep proper books of account, cause an annual audit of the Association books to be made by a public accountant at the completion of each fiscal year; and shall prepare an annual budget and a statement of income and expenditures to be represented to the membership at its regular annual meeting, and deliver a copy of each to the members.

Director, Head, Architectural Committee
Helps maintain the beauty of the homes in the community.

Director, Head, Communications Committee
Helps maintain the community website, writes the community newsletter, designs fliers for community events.

Director, Head, Landscaping Committee
Helps maintain the beauty of our common grounds.

Director, Head, Maintenance Committee
Helps maintain the community streets, play lots, paths, picnic area, and signs.

Director, Head, Social Committee
Helps plan and run fun activities for our community Events include flea markets, community picnic, spring egg hunt, Halloween happening, holiday decorating.

Board of Directors: Selection: Term of Office, Article IV, Section 1, Number, By-Laws
The affairs of the Association shall be managed by a Board of Directors initially consisting of three (3) natural persons who shall be designated by the Declarant and who shall hold office until the election of their successors at the first annual meeting of the members of the Association.

Commencing with the first annual meeting of the Association, the Board of Directors shall consist of nine (9) members who shall be elected by the members of the Association.

Members of the Board of Directors need not be members of the Association.

At the first annual meeting, the members shall elect one (1) director for a term of one (1) year, one (1) director for a term of two (2) years, and the remaining directors for a term of three (3) years; and at each annual meeting thereafter, the members shall elect a director to each vacancy for a term of three (3) years.
