Welcome to the Northwest Nanny Association Homepage!

    We are a nanny support group designed by nannies and for nannies as a network to educate you and to introduce you to other nannies in the area.  Every other month we publish a newsletter and two calendars (one per month).  The newsletter contains information about upcoming monthly meetings, activities planned for nannies and their children, craft ideas, and other bits of information you may find useful.

    Meetings for members are held each month.  Currently our meetings are held the third Sunday of every month.  For each meeting we try to schedule educational guest speakers about topics which may be useful to you.  Some of the speakers in the past years have spoken to us about taxes, how to find a job, the nanny/employer relationship, and contracts.  We have also had a nurse practitioner come to speak on illnesses and a firefighter to train us in CPR. 

    As an organization, we are here to provide support services for you.  We also exist to support the communities in which we work.  In the past, we have painted a Metro Bus Shelter, and made Valentine's for the children at the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center.  We are always open to any volunteer opportunities that come our way.  Check our our Community Service page to find out about upcoming volunteer efforts!
