I never knew you but I feel like I've lost a close friend. I'm sorry this had to happen. You must have been there when I passed. I must have just missed the accident. That night, at one in the morning I drove down 15^th, right passed you. By the time I stepped into my home, 30 seconds later, I could already hear and see the ambulance and police cars.

They sounded so odd and so loud, I knew that something really bad had happened. I'm sorry that it did. And I'm even more sorry that I didn't se you there. Maybe I could have helped you. Maybe those seconds counted. I don't know you but I do love you and I hope that where ever you are, your resting peacefully...
