Coreopsis has lovely star-shaped golden flowers on branching stems. They're great for summer borders and reach a height of 20". They bloom from July to September during the heat of the summer. It's tolerant of dry soils and needs to be placed in a well-drained area. After the first blooming, cut off old blooms for a great repeat performance. (Perennial)
