When I was a child growing up all I wanted to be was a wife and mother. It is wonderful. I am both and it is as great as I thought it would be. Now I am a grandma of four little girls, and one little boy and I love it. I live in the state of Kansas, am 55 years old, and am married to a wonderful man. We have been married for 34 years. My husband is also 55 years old. We were childhood friends and sweethearts. He is the light of my life. We have our own business. We own a semi that my husband bought in 2003. He started driving and I stayed at home and was secretary and book keeper. I started going with him all the time I really enjoyed it. We get to see some new country that way. We saw the Statue of Liberty and Gettysburg We had a 4 day layover in Las Vegas. That was a great time. That was the first time we had been to Vegas and it was a blast. Two of my sisters just happened to be there at the same time so we got to spend some time together and they had been there before so were able to show us things. We said we spent more time together there than we get to spend together when we are all home. It was great. I decided that I would like to drive also so got my CDL and I also drive the semi. My daughter and her family live at the house. I have 3 children, two sons and a daughter. My oldest son (Robert) is 34 years old and he is married. He has his own siding business. He is doing very well. Him and his wife, Tonya, are very happy. She has been a part of the family for several years. She fits right in with our family and is no different than one of our own. We love her very much. Tonya started her own cleaning business. They are the parents of one of my precious little grand daughters. Her name is Hayli and she was born on May 16, 2000. They are also the parents of my only grandson. He was born on April 9, 2003. He is in Kindergarten now. He is such a little character. He is a grandpas boy. He sees grandma and grandpa and he runs to Grandpa. He is as ornery as can be. Just like his daddy was when he was little. Hayli is a grandma's girl. Hayli takes dance classes and she enjoys that. She is in third grade now. She is a very smart little girl. Her and Mason loves to come and stay at grandma and grampas house. The last time she was here I taught her how to scan a recipe book and we made her a copy of it. She thought that was great. She sings alot of songs. She knows all the words to the song Where are you Christmas from the Grinch. Robert is a very good singer. Hayli sings some songs at Kaorake and knows some of the words with out any help. My daughter (Christina) is 31 years old. She is the mom of our other grand daughters. She is married to Terrain. Chris is the mother of my third grand daughter. She is named Alexis and was born on Halloween 2002. She was a very quiet well behaved baby. Unfortunately she is not that way any more. This one leads her mom and everyone else on a merry chase. She has been doing this for most of her life now. I call her my little heathen. She is a grandmas girl now. If I go somewhere she wants to go with me all the time. She is 6 now and much better, but still an ornery little thing. She is in Kindergarten this year. The oldest ones name is Danielle and she is 10 years old at this time and growing very much. She loves to sing and dance and seems never to shut up anymore. She is in forth grade now. She is a smart little cookie also. She is getting older now and more mouthy sometimes but she is still a sweetheart. All our grandchildren like Grandpas truck. We have taken Danielle with us and she said when she grows up she wants to be a truckdriver. She takes lots of pictures with the camera and has also said she would like to be a photographer, I told her whatever she does is fine. I just want them to be happy when they grow up. My youngest son (Jeremy) is 31. He is a roofer. He is a very good cook and sometimes when we get together he does some of the cooking for all of us. He is great with the grand children. He loves them and spends a lot of time with them. He tries to spend time with them and do things with them when he can. He met a wonderful girl named Megan. She is such a sweetheart and just like Tonya she fits right in and we all love her. Jeremy and Megan just had a baby. A precious little girl born March 03,09. She is a tiny little doll. Born at 12:33 am. I got to be in the delivery room when she was born. That is the first time I have gotten to be there when one of our grand children were born, It is an awesome sight to see. I almost cried when she was born because it is such a humbling experience. I was going to get to be in the delivery room when Mason was born but he decided to be born before the doctor thought he would. So I missed out on that one. I think it is wonderful that my daughter in laws love me enough to allow me to be a part of something so wonderful and personal. Our grandchildren are very important to us and we are really happy to have another one to love and to spoil. I have some new pictures that I am going to get posted on here of them so it is more updated. I will do that at a later time. I am glad our family gets to spend a lot of time together. Family is very important to me. I have 4 sisters and 1 brother. I don't see any of my family very much. When I am home I try to see them as often as I can, but most of my free time is spent with my kids and grand kids. It always seems like there is something to do to get ready to go in the truck again so I don't always have a lot of time. Some of us are close enough that we can get together and spend time together and we do that whenever we get the chance. I have many nieces and nephews. I have several great nephews and great nieces. Our family is still growing. There will be another great niece or nephew before very long. I love spending time with my nieces and nephews too. We don't get to get together too often because everybody is so busy but we do try to keep in touch on the phone. We make new memories every time we are together. It is wonderful to all be able to get together when we can. Here are some pictures of my family. I am proud to be able to show them off.

Meet our newest addition. Domenique was born March 3, 2009. Daughter of very proud parents, Jeremy and Megan.


This is my parents. They are both deceased. They were great parents and grandparents. They done their best to raise us kids and instill morals and values in us that would last us for the rest of our lives. They were a good example for all of us. I love them and even though they have been gone a long time, I still miss them.




To all of my family, I love you very very much.

My interests are:
camping and crafts. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. And of course to spoil my grandchildren. Being a grand parent is a great thrill for me. I love all the time I get to spend with our grandchildren. I spoil them way too much but they are only little once, and that time seems to go way too fast. I am enjoying them while I can.
