Today's society, at all levels, has lost it's morals and virtues. This is due to the marginalizing of God to a quaint notion of days gone by. Political figures, celebrities, and special-interest activists ridicule Providence and seek set themselves up in His place. This has caused society to decline to the base and immoral levels we see on television, film, and the internet; read about in newspapers and magazines; and listen to on CDs and tapes. Today's pop icons glorify the immoral, the valueless, and the corrupt while mocking virtue and morality as things for the weak-minded or for the puritanists. On the contrary, it takes one with a strong mind and a firm resolve to resist the allure of today's pop culture. But the media does not give very much voice to those who proclaim good and decry evil. The media drowns out any voice of reason and right with its worship of the crass and uncouth, calling good evil and evil good. The Moral Compass seeks to do what it can to bring God back into society by:
We do not suppose that we are perfect. Nor do we suppose that we are "holier-than-thou." But we feel compelled to stand as witnesses for God and His Truth. We feel it our obligation, and our right, to oppose those who would enslave and destroy humanity. The Moral Compass |
