"MOMMA, LOOK, IT'S JESUS!"
(Being performed at the Clubhouse Awards Ceremony, June 13, 1999)

When He came to Judea, many people filled the streets.
We came to see the Savior with our children at our feet.
There He is on the hillside. His hands are raised up high.
He's praying to His Father, up in heaven in the sky.
Momma, look, it's Jesus. Can we go over too?
If we could only touch Him, He would make us all brand new.
Jesus saw the children and took them on His knee.
He put his hands upon them and blessed them tenderly.
All the children gathered and knelt before God's son.
Their eyes were filled with wonder,
and His words touched everyone.
Momma, look, it's Jesus. Can we go over too?
If we could only touch Him, He would make us all brand new.
Bring the little children, let them come unto me.
For of such is the kingdom, their example we should see.
Jesus saw the children and took them on his knee.
He put His hands upon them and blessed them tenderly.
Momma, look, it's Jesus. Can we go over too?
If we could only touch Him, He would make us all brand new.

I love children! God blessed my husband and me with three beautiful children. They are all grown now and have left the nest. But as He always does, God blessed us over and over again with two beautiful granddaughters. If you visit "My Family Page" you can see photos and read about each of them.

My husband and I direct a mid-week childrens' ministry, "Clubhouse," at the Dixonville Wesleyan Methodist Church. Dixonville is a small town snuggled in rural Pennsylvania nestled between farmland and mining towns. Clubhouse is in its 4th year at our church. Our average weekly attendance when we began the program was 25 children. We now range between 65-70 children each week. God has blessed me personally as well as spiritually through this ministry and He has provided every need every step of the way. However, to those He gives much, He expects much. I trust Him to help me with the work He has set before me of teaching these children about the awesome God we have and how He has made the way for them to have eternal happiness in a life with Him. Jesus never fails me.

We share a 30 minute "chapel time" with the entire group of children at the beginning of the evening. After that, they divide into classes. I have found some fantastic resources on various childrens' ministry sites on the 'net. I would like to share a few of these with you. If you, too, work with children, I would love to hear from you and possibly exchange ideas.

Some of the kids ministry sites I frequent are:

My Awards    Rubber Stamping     Scrapbooking    Inspirational    Meet My Angels    St. Patrick's Day    Easter    Mother's Day    Kids Clubhouse    Home
