One of Dave's wishes is to have a 'blog' so classmates can share comments, stories and prayers with other classmates and Dave. Our classmate Doug Menning has created a Class of 84 Facebook group titled “Richfield High School Class of 1984”: click here to join.

Please sign up and join the group. Thank you!

    Casino Night Recap

The casino fundraiser for Dave was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who attended the event, donated prizes, volunteered their time, donated food and beverage and sent in donations and letters. In total, Dave's family and friends have raised over $9,100! Based on current pledges, we're hoping to reach $10,000. THANK YOU!

    Dave Update

As you know, our classmate Dave Solberg has been courageously battling Myelodysplasia (Leukemia) for many years. Recently doctors in Michigan discovered a significant tumor behind Dave's lung. Surgery is not an option and he is currently home in hospice care.

His family is asking Dave's friends to put together a letter or other type of message for Dave's son Zach. Please share your memories and experiences about Dave before he became ill on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. Zach, who is 10, has really only known his father to be sick and this will help him know the Dave that we all know.

Please send cards and letters to: Dave Solberg 235 Arrowood Drive Wixom, MI 48393

Mr. Maas says hi to everyone and wants us to know we truly were one of the "greatest classes on earth." We were only 1 of 2 classes at Richfield to earn the President's School of Excellence Award. So what's he up to these days? He's retired and enjoying a relaxing life with his wife up north. So what's he look like these days? Well, he looks the same as he did 20 years ago -- just a little more gray hair -- like the rest of us. Click here to see a photo that was taken Thursday, July 15, 2004 at Sydney's in Edina.

Suzanne (Fashant) Nieson and her family need your thoughts and prayers as their son Nicholas recovers from surgery. Please click here to learn more and send a message to the family. Thank you.

"Behold our colors red and white, may they with our spirits fly, may we ever fight, fight for Richfield High!"
