My island of calm?


Life has been busy. This site has come and gone. Most of the info wasn't right anymore so it's all been removed. The kids are old enough now to write up their own pages so hopefully soon their pages will be up and linked to mine. Until then this is all there is.

It's Fall of 2008. It's been 3 years since dad died. I'm working again. As a nursery coordinator this time. It's fun, and easy. The pay is less then when I was in the computer industry but I can bring the kids to work with me and it's in town so it's definately a better place for me to be.

I'm a scout leader to the older girl's troop. A parent helper as needed for the younger girl's troop. Hubby is a parent helper for the boy's troop. I'm also teaching the God and Country program at our church.

It feels good to be back in church and actually doing things. Not just the go on Sunday when I feel like it, but really go and teach others about God. Helping without expecting something in return.
