BERKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA; 1756


The tewnty fourth Day of the fifth month in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and fifty five. I Susana Ballie of the townShip of oley in the County of Berks, widow Being of Perfect mind and memory (thanks be to God) And Calling to mind The uncertainty of time and mortallity of my body, Do make and ordain this my Last will and teftament as touching my worldly Estate; which after my Juft Depts & Funeral Charges are paid; I Give Bequeath and Dispose of in the following manner and form - that is to Say; First I Give and bequeath unto my Three Daughters, Susanna Boidleman, Cathrine Bartolet and Eleaner Lomback, Three parts out of four of all my Eftate Goods and Chattles to be Equally divided amongst them and the fourth part I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Dorothy and her Seven Children Jacob Sharra, Peter Sharra, Henry Sharra, Michael Sharra, Elifabeth Sharra, Susanna Sharra, and Mary Sharra to be Equally Divided amongst them; and I Do hereby Revoke all and Disanull all former wills by me made; and I Do make and order John Bartolet, Peter Lombach and Detrick Boidleman Executors of this my Last will and Teftament In witnefs whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the Day and year above written.

Reading Berks the 10th Day of May 1756. Then personally appeared Samuel Lee and Abraham Levin both of Oley Township in the County aforesaid Yeoman the Witnefses to the forewritten Will and upon their folemn affirmation according to law did feverally declare & fay that they saw & heard Susannah Ballie the Teftator therein named fign feal publish & Declare the faid Will to be her last Will and Teftament and that at the doing thereof She the said Sufannah was of found mind, memory, & underftanding to the best of their Knowledge and belief And also that they fign'd their names as Witnefses thereto in the aforesaid & at the Request of the said Testator.
