Hi, I'm Joyce, owner of a "Singapore Stray" named Putter.. who flew 10,000 miles to USA join my crew of 6 cats (Patches, Miss Daisy, Rusty, Tinker and Hobo, Stringbean). With the help of "Sharon" in Singapore and "Aleta" in US, and of course "Elles" in Amsterdam, we made this possible. Putter was followed by, Sparky, who has found a home in Virginia. Then came Pepper, who resides in Virginia also and MartiCreme who now resides in California..

I live in country and enjoy gardening and cooking and enjoying my time at home with my fur family. I do independent rescue on small scale and maintain an outdoor enclousure to house a few rescues or ferals. Also work on Trap/Neuter/Release of stray feral cats in the area.

After a hard day......"Putter" is tired.

Putter checking the menu (Hi Mom Sharon)..

Putter checks the outside, quite different from streets of Singapore...

Putter likes resting on her pillow from Singapore

Tinker didnt mind playing Santa to the kitties in the enclosure and everyone had a helping of Salmon.

Happy New Year!!

Rusty catching some Zzzzz

The above is Rusty Scuffer. Rusty and Tattoo and their Mom Daisy (below), were feral's I trapped in summer 96, in my sister-in-laws tractor shed..they are quite the Lap Lizards now. My Tattoo has been missing since Memorial Day 98.

"Daisy" my formerly feral mom cat, now a lap lizard.

Hobo (below) is my black female cat who was found living at the country store where someone chose to abandon her, it took her a while to cope (growl fest), but she rather likes it now. Hobo went to Rainbow Bridge few days after Xmas 2001, due to bladder cancer, Ill forever miss her....

My Hobo from the Country Store

Patches (calico female) loves the outdoors, she will not be kept in too long, she loves to survey the acre yard and woods and bring back moles and mice, and climb the big trees.

My girl "Tinker" is pictured below. She came from local rescue group, found at the QuickStop on outskirts of town, her tail was severed and vet has removed all but about 2" and she has been spayed. She tilts her head to one side. She is silver grey with a splash of tabby and white on her paws. Very quiet and sweet but I think this little girl had a hard start, but will enjoy having a real place to call home.

Tinker settled in quietly

Below Tinker, doing one of her favorite hobbies, checking menu

"Stringbean" likes the corregated scratching toy.

Stringbean likes to see things from a different angle..

The above is 'Stringbean' kind of a loner, she came in thru basement crawl space and we invited her for dinner.

Minnie

Latest visitor is "Minnie" a tiny tabby/white girl who showed up at back porch, she appeared to have had kittens possibly but no signs of them, she is currently staying with us.

"GIZMO" (grey/white female) is spayed and was given up by her owners after 6yrs, they are heartbroken and so is she. Landlord said she had to go...but she had no where to go...a little cardboard box with her toy and blanket from home was all that was left. NEWS: 4/10/99 - A nice girl named "KC" gave me a second chance today and took me home, Purrs and headbutts. New Name "Pixie" See below what a pretty girl I am.

This is our big guy "Sylvester" who died of Cancer (Squamous Cell) Feb 2000, we will miss him for a long time, he was gentle timid cat who left his footprints on our heart

Last but not least is "Flash" the ferret contemplating her next plan of action. Each nite I have to retreive the cat toys she has stashed under the sofa and under the dresser, along with the bath mat she drags under the dresser. She also does Shoe Repair. "Flash" has gone to Rainbow Bride she succumbed to Lympho (cancer) 4/15/99, hope she is in a better place where she will have no pain.

...Flash

Above is "Louie" who belongs to LindaFay in Louisiana, sick and ill when she rescued him, he is a special gift FeLV cat testing negative after a year on Interferon.

This is "Beau" ..this big boy belongs to Pat Huber of Colorado, who found Beau, who tested FIV+ very hungry and alone, but those days are gone..... He recently tested negative so now he has joined two girls Holly & Ivy and his brother Casey at home, he is trying to retire from office Supv.

Beau is waiting to see what is on the lunch menu...

Patches the "Hat" cat! This acrobat cat belongs to Charlie & Shelley who adopted her last year. She likes to see things at the highest possible level.
