In the process of doing research
I have found many items of genealogical interest that do not necessarily
pertain to my particular branch of the family but I will list the info

Services Tuesday for Stephen Gonda. Services will be
at noon Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home, Austintown, for Stephen
Gonda, 84 of 246 Boquet Ave., who died at 6 a.m. Saturday in South
Side Hospital after a four day illness. Mr. Gonda was born July
18,1895 in Star Junction, PA., A son of Paul and Helen Luezauski Gonda
coming to Youngstown in 1972 from Detroit, MI. He retired from
Gemmers Manufacturing Co. in Detroit, where he had worked in the
maintenance department. He had also been an Auxillary Militay
police officer during World War II. He leaves a daughter Irene
Pierson of Stuart, FL, a sister Mrs. Anna Booth, of Youngstown,
OH., a brother Michael of Detroit and five grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. |
