Cupid & Valentine Lautrera are the sole members of Phoebe's 4th (and final?) litter. They were born on Saturday, February 14th, 1998 (Valentine's Day) at 2:15 or 2:30p.m. while my friend and I were playing Nintendo 64 in the basement. We came upstairs and took a peak. 2 babies! There must be more, we thought, since Phoebe had been sooooo big. But no; only two. And one of them didn't look so good.
We named them Cupid & Valentine in an effort to be insufferably cheesy = ) Valentine didn't look very well. Both of them were very red (they'd just been born, after all!) but Valentine wasn't moving too much. Not much to my surprise, Valentine died the next day = (
Sadly, Cupid departed this little life on Tuesday, February 18th, 1998. = (
