Merrrow kitties! One of my favfurrite pasttimes is to look outside the window. There are so many interesting things to see. Recently, I saved up enuf toona coins to purchase a special MMC cam. It enables us to look through different windows around the world. Unfortunately, it works really slow, so the view only changes about once a month. Take a peek at the window scene below and tell me what you think. What does this particular view this month make you think of? PS: Feel free to send in a pikshur of the view from your window! Your thoughts fur August's window scene: Yaks: I think it looks like Africa and a part of a desert. Dwnn and Taliesin: "Look, a gull! That bird's as big as we are; does meowmie have any recipes for Roast Gull, we wonder. What is that big pink thing? It has two legs, wings, and a bill. Omigosh, it's a really big bird! Is it going to eat the gull? We're going to sit right here and watch until meowmie gets here. She'll know what to do." Dwnn: "Go wake up meowmie, Taliesin." Taliesin: "You crazy, Dwnn? It's 3 am; we aren't even supposed to be using the pewter." So we just sit and watch and think about Roast Gull and Roast Really Big Bird. Queen Claudie, Tigger, and Tommy the Tiger : All 3 of us cats here at Mark's Cat House had similar thoughts: It's awful nice of that pink bird to stand on stilts fur us so its feathers don't get all yucky and wet. Much better dining that way!!! Smokey: Makes uz tink we'd like dat window in de middle of de winter. Riley says he want to chaze de big pink bird too. Timna and Woosel: Mew! Purrty birdies! Da pink one has long leggies ta climb like our scratchin' perches! Da birdie on da right weez spied real quickie, cause mommie taught us all 'bout "gulls". Do yuz know dat der is no such ting as a "sea gull"? Dats jus what hoomans call dem all. Der is jus lots of different kinds of "gulls". Mommie has twouble identifin' all da different kinds...daddy's good though. Weez jus know dat dey likes fishies, an so do weez! Oh - an da rocks looksie so good ta lay on in da sunshine - iffin' it's not da middle of summer an 100 degrees in da shade! Mew...what a pweety window ta looksie out of... Sassy: The picture makes me think of lunch! Simba: I nevfur been there, but I think the picture looks like Florida.... And I wish I was there chasing that big pink bird! Maureen: I think it's very nice... a very relaxing scene. I like watching for the birds!
