THE SAN FRANCISCO HOME OF
    WILLIAM LARKINS (1833-1913)

This ornate, Victorian-style structure was built for the carriage maker after his earlier home was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. He lived here with his wife Sarah and his unmarried daughters Mary Louise and Sarah Josephine until his death in 1913.

For some years it was on a tour of the city's premier houses. The current owners have preserved the original furniture and stained glass windows.
