CHELSEA MARCELLUS ERB, MD
                        (1881-1909)

Chelsea was the only son of Emery Titus Erb and Mary Ann Scanlan.

This picture was taken about 1904 when he graduated from Creighton Medical School in Nebraska. His first practice was as a doctor for a mining company in Leadville, Colorado, where he married Estella Jones in 1906. Tragically, he died of typhoid fever less than a year later while treating patients during a typhoid epidemic.

He was the last male Erb in his line.
