I joined CLAW in the November of 1997. Ever since then, I have been an avid participator in almost every CLAW activity. I have taken classes at the CLAW
University, participated in Intramural hunts, helped judge the CLAW Cat Show, and am a member of quite a few guilds and societies. I also run a few, but we'll get to
that later.Ever since joining CLAW, I have made lots of friends. I think that this is one of the best aspects of CLAW - the great friends you make. Some special friends in particular include Charlie (my winkwink!), Kitkat, a very special friend; and one of the first I made, Chazot, Penny, Murph, Tissy, Sassy, Minuet, Macavity, Kitty Boodles, Jinx, Alabaster, and of course, Queen Midnight. Charlie introduced me to most of these wonderful cats, and I am very glad that he did!

As I mentioned before, I am involved in a lot of activities within CLAW. I graduated to a Level Two member in December last year, and this is my card for it.
I am the moderator of one society: the Questionnaire Society. I started this Society in March this year, and in it, kitties answer questions posed by myself. There is a prize for the best answer to each question; and members earn points for each thing they contribute to the Society.
My first ever guild was the Star Gazers Guild, which deals with Astronomy and the Universe. I started this guild in January, 1998, and it has been doing well so far. We have a Planetarium, and have written quite a few books on constellations for the CLAW Library. The Star Gazers Guild is a very fun guild to run.
Another guild I run is the CLAW Homepage Awards Guild. I run this guild with my brother Diamond, and the guild's main aim is to revise certain homepages and award the best one with a special prize. This is another fun guild to run!
I am also KitKat's assisstant in the Greek Mythology Society - a very interesting society to join!
Besides leading guilds and societies, I also do other things to help with CLAW. I am the Dean of the College of Fine Arts (I am furry proud of this!), and I
teach an Astronomy Class in the CLAW University. I am also the assistant Teacher of the Singing, Music History and Music Appreciation classes.I am also the proud CLAW Mall Manager. This means I look after the Mall, and update the store owner's shops from time to time. I also approve of any new shops who want to be placed in the Mall.

In the CLAW University, I have worked hard towards earning the three most important degrees: BCC (Bachelor of CLAW Catship), MF (Master Feline Degree) and the Fsd (Doctor of Feline Studies). I attained my BCC in December of last year, and graduated with my next two degrees in the last graduation ceremony in April. I have not placed my diplomas here so as to cut down on the load time ;)
I have also been earning a lot of service points lately; I have earned 3, 155.0 service points as of July 3.
Me-Wow! On July 3, 1998, I am the winner of this month's Service Award! Here it is!
 | The CLAW Theater produces top quality plays. These plays are performed by a group called the Thespians, of which Charlie and Jinx lead. Recently,
the CLAW Theater was awarded 5 stars by Surfing the Net With Kids, a very prestigious award. The CLAW Theater is managed by Tom Kitty, who does
a splendid job. The most recent play performed by the Thespians was Romeo and Juliet, which was a huge success! The next play to be performed by the Thespians is "Titanic" - this is expected to be yet another huge success! |
Although there are a lot of fun things to do at CLAW, there is also a serious side. CLAW has a Safe Harbour Campaign, and a CLAW Cats Care Campaign in the Feline Protective Services. The Feline Protective Services page also contains Social News and Petitions, and Abuse Laws from Around the World. This part of CLAW is very important - any pages dealing with protecting animals from abuse is important.

All in all, CLAW is a very enjoyable and worthwhile club to join. I love being a part of it, and I sincerely hope that CLAW will be around for a long time to come. But finally, I have to thank the cat that made it all happen; our president, the wonderful, Queen Midnight!
