Jesus Is Lord!!!
This page is dedicated to my wonderful parents, Joe and Ruth Holloway. My parents are two of the lovliest people that you could ever meet. My mother could engage conversation with a tree stump with her witty and charming gift of conversation. There is not a person alive who has met my Dad and doesn't love him. Together they make a perfect match. They both love the Lord and it is their life's mission to serve God for the rest of their lives. I just want to thank them for their invaluable gift of a Godly heritage which I am passing on to my own 2 children. I thank God for my parents.
My mother's Favorite Verse:
Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.
My Dad's Favorite Verse:
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
My Parent's Church
Our Miracle
About 3 years ago God turned a horrible car accident into the most wonderful blessing our family has ever experienced. My parents had drifted from the Lord and were not attending church or woshipping in any way. My husband and daughter were in a terrible automobile accident which required my daughter to undergo plastic surgery on her lip. When my parents arrived at the hospital, dozens of our church friends were already present. Our friends held our hands and cried with us that evening. My parents were so touched by the outpouring of love from our church that they decided they wanted that kind of love and support for themselves. Being eternally grateful to God for sparing my husband and daughter's lives, my parents renewed their committment to the Lord and have been faithfully serving him since that blessed evening!
