A CHRISTMAS REFLECTION

Christmas Day is drawing nigh
The shopping's nearly done

The children find it hard to sleep
On mantel, stockings hung

The tree's decked out with pretty lights
And gingerbread men do bake

With snowball fights and fireside chats
And skating on frozen lakes

Mom wraps the presents, Pop assembles the toys
Santa will deliver to all the girls and boys

Up, upon the rooftops
Santa's reindeer prance

With snowflakes gently gliding down
Just like a fairy dance

Why do we only have this feeling
One month out of the year?

Let's make it last the whole year through
And keep the Christmas Cheer
