Wreaths upon the door

Gaily covered packages
To and fro to all the stores

Santa's busy time of year
Filling children's dreams

Pies and cakes in ovens bake
And drinking egg nog creams

Old friends drop by your home
It's fun to share the season

Sometimes we tend to forget
