That's why He left His home

He saw me floundering and lost
So far out of touch, so alone

This brought sadness to His Heart
That His child had lost their way

So He came to claim His child
And in my heart He'll stay

He's more than I ever hoped for
His peace He freely gives

No longer living in bondage to sin
Because my Savior lives

Now there's hope for all my tomorrows
As my past is laid to rest

For Jesus came to claim me
And now I'm truly blessed

So thank you dearest Father
For all you've done for me

Because your son you gave
