 Sisters

This is for you, my sister, my friend

For you are the one on who I depend,

You're always there when I call on you

No matter the problem you always come through.

You always have time to reminisce

A look back in time when ignorance was bliss,

We share a laugh and sometimes a tear

You bring peace where there used to be fear.

What can I say to tell you now

How much you mean to me?

I no longer have to feel alone

For you change me, my, I to "WE"

So I thought that I might write a poem

And hope to make a start

To tell you that you live each day

Right here within my heart.
