How do I say thank you?
You have been there for me through good times and bad
You are Winyan, You are Woman
You have touched a secret place in my heart
You have taken a heart, made hard by hurt
It has become softened by your caring
You are always there to listen to my woes
You are a dream catcher
We are a part of Mother Earth as sure as sand and sea
We are brought together through destiny
Our strength of friendship is tied by a three braided cord
Not easily broken
As nature does evolve so does our friendship
Ever reaching new heights
You are my confidant, my encourager
Never judging harshly but accepting me with grace
The beauty in your soul reaches out across the distance to touch
To make complete a thought, an escaping of fear
Bringing courage to face the obstacles in life's path
Drawing me every closer to my goal of peace and tranquility
So thank you dear Winyan for being you
My soul bids O'siyo to you this day
Until the new day dawns with hope eternal and friendships that last a lifetime
