It's a long way from Here to there.
Light Years!

 Where could we go in a light year?
Have you ever thought about that. We don't even know if we could survive the trip to another planet. The nearest star is a least 3.5 light years away. What does that mean? Traveling at the speed of light 186,000 miles a second it would take at least 3.5 light years to get there. Thats 11,160,000 miles a minute. Our Galaxy the Milkey is at least a 100, 000 light years across and has at least a million stars. The Universe is at least a billion light years across.
