Our Season Format

A "Split Season" format is used consisting of 2 seperate "half seasons."
  • Each season will be 7 weeks long, with the last night being a "position night".
  • A Playoff between the first place finisher of each half, to determine the Overall League Champion, will be scheduled for the Final Night, in conjunction with a league picnic and fun pitch.

Players Average, % Ringers, Total Points, Etc will be carried over from the First Half season and used in calculating a players Average, % Ringers, Etc for the 2nd Half Season.

Other Info
After all substitute pitchers have been assigned a playing position, if a given court does not have all three players, the Secretary will define a Player Rotation with another court. The Player Rotation will be as follows:
If there is a court with only one (1) player, the secretary will assign a player from another court to pitch on that court. This will result in (2) courts each having only (2) players. The (2) two players on these courts will then play each other twice. Then Plaer #1 from both courts will switch places. The two (2) players on each court will then play each other twice, again.

If there is only one court having only two (2) players the players will play each other twice.
Then the Secretary will define a player #1 (Player "A") from another court, and select one of the players from the unfilled court (Player "B"). After Player "A" and Player "B" have finished their 1st two games, the will switch Places, and continue Play.

Substitute Pitchers
Substitute pitchers will be used to fill in the roster for the night they pitch. However, their win/loss record will not count in the standings for the person they are replacing
