Harry E. Hardesty
Harry Edmond Hardesty, 67, of Fulton, NY, a former Conesville risident,
died Friday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton, following a long illness.
Born Feb. 5, 1914, in Conesville, he was the son of Henry and Carrie
Irene
Miller Hardesty. He married Louise E. Glosser on Aug. 3, 1933.
She died
April 30, 1979.
Hardesty attended Conesville School for 11 years and graduated from
Coshocton High School. He moved from Coshocton County to Marianna,
Pa. in
1937, where he was employed by the Marianna Coal Company. He left the
firm and then worked as a service technician for Sears, Roebuck and
Co.
in Washington, Pa. from 1961 until he retired in 1975. He moved
to
Fulton in 1979.
The former Coshocton area resident was affiliated with the Conesville
United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church in Marianna,
Pa.
Surviving are four sons, Donald H. of Baltimore.\, Md., Rodney L. of
Fulton, N.Y., Bradley W. of Bayonne, N. J., and Edmond L. of South
Bend,
Ind.; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Hardesty and Mrs. Clyde
(Ruth) Hankins, both of Coshocton; one brother James R. Hardesty of
Columbus; and nine nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Free Funeral Home with
the Rev. James M. Stuller officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn
Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and until
time
of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
