Mrs. Irean Hardesty
Mrs. Irean Hardesty, 85, Conesville, who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage
at
her home last Tuesday, died in County Memorial Hospital at 11:15 p.m.
Thursday.
Born Sept. 18, 1879, in Zanesville, she was a daughter of Harry S. and
Annie
Lumen Miller, and was married April 8, 1899 to Henry J. Hardesty, who
died
Jan 23, 1949.
Mrs. Hardesty had been a member of Conesville Methodist Church since
childhood. She also belonged to the Good Samaritan Sunday School
Class and
WSCS of that church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Gladys Hardesty of the home, and Mrs.
Clyde (Ruth) Hankins, 627 South Seventh St.; two sons, H. Edmond Miller
of
Marianna, Pa., and James R. Miller of Bradford, O.; 13 grandchildren
and 15
great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dawson Funeral Home
by
Rev. James McConnell. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
and until time of services Sunday.
NAMES INCORRECT
In the obituary of Mrs. Irean Hardesty, 85, Conesville, published in
the
Friday Tribune, the neames of two surviving sons were in error.
The names
should have read, H. Edmond Hardesty, Marianna, Pa., and James R. Hardesty,
Bradford, O. The names were printed as Miller. Omitted
from the story was
that one daughter and one granddaughter are deceased.
