Thankyou for visiting the Light family Home Page and for those of you who happen to be just surfing around we hope you don't find this boring.

We live in Newmarket Ontario Canada which is about a half hour north of Toronto. The picture at right shows Warrant Officer Thomas Light who was my grandfather until his death in 1968.He served in the British Army from 1916 to 1952 in the Royal Regiment of Artillery and fought in WW1 and WW2. He saw service in France,China,Egypt and Cyprus.
