The Orcutt name is a derivative of "Urquhart" and the family
was from Cromarty,Scotland. The name Orcutt is now even accepted
as membership to the Clan Urquhart.

Joshua Orcutt,was an expert horticulturist,and took care of his
brother-in-laws apple orchards in Genessee Co.,New York.
All of his children were born in New York,and latter some migrated
to Hillsdale and Kent Co's.,Michigan.

You can find descendants of William and Mary Orcutt all over
the country. Am trying to find the names of Joshua's parents.
