Candle In My Room |
It's getting better of my feeling in these days. Thank you for sending me personal messages to me while I was feeling down. Of course I still feel sad when I remenber her but I have to live in real life. Sometimes it's hard but I believe it won't last so long. Though I'm not familiar with clasical music, I bought some CDs that was played during the service, for memories of the funeral service. A list of the music is on the PA news center, order of service page.
Elton John's "Candle In The Wind 97" for England's Rose has released in UK but not available in Japan. So I ordered it at Interactive Music and Video Shop, I'll get the CD soon. It'll become the biggest hit CD in this year. Another news said whole funeral service of Princess Diana was recorded and will be released on CD. But this is not certainly. - 15th September 1997
I've been feeling down since her tragic death. She is really a queen of people's hearts as she said herself. When I think about what she did and what she wanted, I always have tears in my eyes. I wonder I realised how much I loved her. I'll never forget you.
I watched the funeral on TV. It was late evening here in Japan. That unique funeral was especialy suit her. Speech by her sister and brother and special song by Elton John were very wonderful but feel more sad she wasn't there anymore. My mind is still losing control. I know she wouldn't hope me to do but I don't want to do anything. Won't somebody please help me? - 7th September 1997
31st August 1997 had to be a British day for me. At first, I had a meeting in Nara with my friends who loves U.K. Two of them reported their trip to England and Scotland just a month ago they had in a different period. I also reported my view of Liverpool. We also talked about Princess Diana who come to Japan first time in 1986. I didn't know what happened to her at that time.
Then I met another friends at a British pub in Osaka, this time we are all who love the Beatles. In this pub, I heard an unbelievable news from a friend. He said about Princess Diana's car accident. Cos I was go out all day long, I couldn't heard any news of this. I wanted to think it must be a bad joke or something.
After these meeting, I and my friend was back his flat in Osaka where I stayed for three days. We turned on a TV and connected to the Internet. Then I realised it was true. I'm not a British citizen nor a monarchist but I was very shocked. I'm speechless just thinking about her tragic life. She had the hellish experience till she die. 30th August was my 28th birthday but went to terrible days. 31st August was definitely a British day for me.
On my way back home to Ibaraki, I was passing through Tokyo. My feet was going to British Embassy in Tokyo. At the Embassy, the Union Jack was flown at half-mast. I made an entry of the condolence. Oh, dear Queen of people's hearts. - 1st September 1997
