My sweet little Icon. You came to me from the Boulder Humane Society to be taken care of until you were ready to be adopted. It was an honor to have you in my life if even for such a short time. You life was worth so much.

I will never forget how you used to love to watch the computer screen and try to attack the mouse everytime it moved. I will never forget how you would toss your ball high up in the air and chase after it. I will never forget how you used to be the first in the kitchen to get the canned food. I will never forget how you used to attack my feet at night while I tried to sleep. I will never forget your soft purr or your sweet little face.

I will love you Icon, as long as I can dream, as long as I can think , as long as I have a memory. I will love you as long as I have a heart to feel , a soul stirring within me, an imagination to hold you. I will see you in the shadows of my mind and smile through my tears

Farewell my friend. Thank you for being in my life.

Please everyone, remember that just because your cats are indoors doesn't not mean there is no danger. Be sure to keep all electeric cords out of your cats reach. I can tell you, it is no fun coming home and finding your kitty electrocuted. This is something that I will never forget. I will live with the pain of such a senseless loss for the rest of my life.
