This is Lucky. He and his five littermates were born in the wild.At 6 months or so of age, they were traped by Catalyst for Cats a non profit organization dedicated to altering the future for strays. They were spayed/neuterd and given shots. The area where they were caught was not very safe so they were relocated to my house. It took 2 years before Lucky would let me pet him.He also now loves to be inside. The others are still pretty wild but stay close and always show up for dinner.
This is Rocky my little furpig. He loves to play hide and seek with my rabbit Antonio.Every morning Rocky likes to go around to all my neighbors and say "Good Morning" before starting a game of Toss the Lizard with Tabasco.
This is my sweet Willie.I sometimes call him "Cork Screw" because of his curly tail.He is shy of people but still very loving. He loves to head butt and likes his belly rubbed.
This is Felix.I have had him the longest of all the cats and he is the only one that didn't come from the shelter or rescue group.
A friend of mine had been to a pet shop and said that there was the cuteset little gray and white kitten there.AT the time,I had one cat Syliva a silver tabby and had been thinking of getting another. So I went to the pet store and saw Felix playing in the back room with a puppy. He was having so much fun. When he saw me he came right over to say meow and that was it.I was on my lunch hour so I had to bring him back to work with me since I didn't have time to take him home.He had a good time runing around the office and attacking people's feet and jumping up on their desks and walking across their key boards.
Felix has been with me for a long time now.He doesn't seem to mind that I have brought home so many cats over the years. He seems to know that he will always have that specail place in my heart.
Here is Boo trying to get at the chicken bones again! I finely had to start takeing the trash out right away after having chicken.
Boo became part of the family a week after I got Stimpy. You would think that they were related since they look so much alike.Boo and Stimpy really took to each other and were the best of friends.
One of the hazzards of having so many cats is that sometimes, one of the cats isn't happy having to live with so many.A year or so after getting Boo,he dissappeared for several days.I looked and looked for him.He was wearing an ID tag so I hoped that someone would call.I had just about given up on ever seeing Boo again when I got a call from the lady just down the street from me.Boo had been hanging out at her house and when he seemed to not be going home, she gave me a call.It was Christmas day and her call was the best presant I could have asked for.I was so thankful that Boo was alive and well.
Every day I had to go to the lady's house to bring Boo home.He would get real upset and just sit by the window until morning when it was time to go out again.
As I got to know this lady and her husband,I began to see what very kind and careing people they were. They loved Boo so much and really enjoyed having him around. They also felt guilty because he wasn't their cat. After a lot of thought and talking with these people, and also realizing that Boo didn't like living with a bunch of cats,I allowed the couple to adopt him.I could see how much they loved him and knew with out a doubt that they would give him the best home;that they loved him like I did.
Boo has been at his new home for a year now and is very happy. He even still goes to the same vet.Having him so close I get to see him often and he often gets a vist from Ren and Stimpy.Ren has been knowen to go inside Boo's house and eat his food!
