MY COLLECTIONS

I never use to collect anything because I could see no good reason to spend money on just things. Then I had kids and wanted to buy them the best quality toys I could find. Fisher Price was the answer. After three kids I had so many toys I couldn't bear to part with, so I stuck them away for future grandkids. Then I started finding old pieces at yard sales and auctions and the rest is history. I don't have a picture of all my pieces, but there is a great web site dedicated to Fisher Price Toys. I also love the McDonald 101 Dalmations that McDonalds put in their Happy Meals in December of 1996. I have collected one complete set and need just four more to complete a second set. (Anybody got a dalmatian with Mickey Mouse ears out there??) On my McDonalds page you will find a picture of them plus links to The Toy Zone and other Mcdonald sites.
Another passion of mine is Hallmark Ornaments. I have been collecting since 1980 when my first child was born. I got off to a slow start but now I am a fanatic.(Just ask my husband and kids) I will include more pictures of them as soon as I get a scanner. They are real cute and hold an enormous sentimental as well as collectible value. There are some links to some good places to find collectible items such as Hallmark, comic books, and many others.
As you can see from the picture at the start of this page, M&M's are another of my favorite things to collect. So far I have a just few Christmas items and odds and ends associated with them but I WANT MORE! That is just how collecting things becomes!
