These pictures belonged to Ella (Tonkinson) Rowe, and could be her grandparents. There are no names on these original Daguerrotypes, but her maternal grandparents are already identified in other pictures. The age of the pictures and the age of her Tonkinson grandparents would be a match. There is also a good resemblance between Ella's father William and the man shown here, in the shape of ears and nose, pale eyes, shape of the mouth, and the thick hair. Earlier pictures of William show him with a face which is a bit rounder, as well.
