I admire your family strength. It seems that after my father's death my mom was afraid to keep in touch with his family (even though they were very close). I don't understand why. Hi, I got here via the link from Zach's page. We are on CPParent. My youngest child is spastic quad as well. Jeremy is 7 years old. He was born full term, but was holding his cord and would squeeze it during contractions. he was born emergency c-section. His biological father could not deal withit all and started to physically abuse me and then the boys....SEE YA!!!!! I was out ofthere faster than they could pack it all and send it back home to WI I just remarried an absolutely wonderful man. We have een together for 4 years now and he has been more of a father to my boys than their "real" dad has. He send the child support and that's it!!!! Jeremy has had 9 surgeries and is scheduled for #10 on May 12, 1998...Happy Mother's Day!!!! He also has seiz res and we are waiting on the results of and EEG and sleep study. They think he may be having Nocturnal seizures or apnea as well as Petit Mal's along with his other 2 types he already has been diagnosed with!!! His older brother Corey is a challenge as well, but at the opposite end of the spectrum. He is VERY intelligent and is a handful to try to keep interested in things. Especially inschool. However, he has been accpeted into the gifted and talented program through school and will be inmore advanc d classes to keep him challenged. Your sites are wonderful, aas well as you and your husband for taking on such sweet and special children.....wish there was more people like the 2 of you in this world.
