To Our Dearest Desiree,
This letter is written to you by your Grandma Mary on behalf of an entire family that cares deeply for you. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of you or talk about you. We miss you and wish that we had you with us, in our midst of great love and care that we could provide for you.
What your Daddy did, dear heart, he did out of love for you. It was the only avenue open to him in order to protect you and keep you safe from those who would abuse you further and use you for their own personal gain.
We pray daily that you have found peace and love with a good family. We also pray that one day you will seek us out and come to visit.
