Dont grieve for me, now Im free
I could not stay another day,
If my parting has left a void,
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
The above memorial/obituary card was sent to me by my Aunt Virginia. I extend my sincerest condolences, gratitude and love to my Aunt Virginia and her family and will always remember my "Uncle Bill" as a very loving, soft-spoken man who had lots of kids (my Minnesota cousins) for me to play with during my summer vacation trips to Mapleton in my early years. Uncle Bill & Aunt Virginia - I will always remember the wonderful and happy memories spent at your two-story home on that tree-lined street so many years ago. Your house was always alive with the laughter of children, the aromas of good cooking and forever filled with your embracing and loving spirit.

Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives through;
God hath not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way.
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy
Undying love . . .

Im following the path God laid you see.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found the peace at the close of the day.
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss,
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My lifes been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Dont lengthen it now with undue gried.
Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
