Girl of Sixteen years dies after Illness of two weeks. Many hearts full of Grief Funeral Services For Daughter of Mrs. Frances Fink & Howard Leslie Blair
Held Thursday, The entire community is grief stricken over the death of Miss Bonnie Blair, who passed away Wednesday morning at ten minutes past seven after a brief illness of two weeks. Many did not know that her condition was even critical and the announcement of her demise could hardly be credited.
She was one of the most beautiful and popular young girls in Oak Creek and was just budding into womanhood. She was of an exceptionally cheerful and friendly disposition and all who knew her were her friends. She was a student in the public schools during the past year but had not entered for the fall term up to the time that she was taken ill.
Bonnie Dale Blair, was a daughter of Howard Leslie Blair and Mrs. Amanda Francis Fink. She was born in Cherokee, Kansas, November 8th, 1899 and died in Oak Creek, Colo., October 11th, 1916, aged 16 years, 11 months and 3 days.
She came to Oak Creek with her mother May 12th, 1911 and since that time has made it her home almost continuously. She was taken ill on September 27th, with rheumatic fever, due to exposure and suffered greatly during her short illness. Besides her parents, she leaves her grand parents on both sides, five uncles and three aunts to mourn her death.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal Church, at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. Louis E. Goodwin having charge of the last sad rites. A large number of sorrowing friends and relatives were present at the funeral. Interment in the Oak Creek Cemetery. The bier was covered with many beautiful floral gifts from friends of the deceased. The pall bearers were Nathan Corrall, Amie Rapin, Thomas Carroll, C.O., Kline,Robert Morgan and Dr. J. E. Kelly. the honorary pallbearers were Mrs. J. L. Hoyt, Mrs. Harry Miller, Minnie Chapman, Mildred Phelps, Ethel Phelps and Annie Estes. (Bonnie, is my Aunt)

Homer Lee Blair, died Monday, 30 Dec 1991, at St. Francis Extended Care. He was 79 years old.
Born in Skidmore, Cherokee Co., KS.,he moved to the Bay Area in the mid-1930's. He lived in Hayward, San Jose and Colorado before returning to Hayward four years ago. Mr. Blair had worked as a miner in San Jose and as a cook at the Gerber's plant in Oakland . He also worked at the Steel Mill in Union City.
He is survived by two daughters, Esther Radcliffe of Newark, and Janet Banks of Hayward: one son, Dennis Blair of Cannyonville, OR.: seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery, in Hayward, (Alameda Co,, CA). Arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society of Castro Valley, CA (This is my father)

Marshall L. Blair, 63, Anderson, Indiana, formerly of Russell Springs,(KY)died Tuesday, March 3, 1998 at the St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was the son of the late Bascom and Hadie Blair. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Blair, Anderson, Indiana; two children, Brenda (husband Dennis) Daffron, Anderson, Indiana; and Jeff Yeager of Michigan; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews; Lary Blair, Dean Blair, Roger Blair, Marilyn Ford and Lisa McDonald.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Marion Blair. Mr. Blair was retired from Guide Lamp. He was a welder. He was a member of the Wesley Free Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 6, 1998 at rozelle Johnson Funeral service with Rev. Harvey Fry and Rev. John Lane officiating. Burial in the Anderson Memorial Park.

Nancy Jane Hudson Blair, in Oakland, November 24, 1957, dearly beloved wife of the late Harrison Blair: loving mother of Roy Blair and the late Loren E. Howard., Oscar Blair and the late Mrs. Bertha Whitney: dear sister of James Hudson of Phippsburg (Routt County) Colorado; Mrs. Elizabeth Bryant and Mrs. Lavina Cromeenes of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Mollie Murrah of North Vernon, Indiana; also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A native of Kentucky (Russell County): aged 99 years.
Friends are respectfully invited to attend the services Wednesday, November 27 at 1 p.m. in the Laurel Chapel of Albert Engel & Co., 4555 MacArthur Boulevard, between High Street and Mills College, Oakland, with Rev. M. J. Votruba officiating.

A retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.Services and Interment will be concucted under the direction of the Chapel of the Hills, Auburn, CA, at the Mountain View Cemetery Chapel, 5000 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland Friday, August 9, at 2 p.m.
