DIRECTIONS TO THE FARM SHOW COMPLEX

The Farm Show Complex is located along Cameron and Maclay Streets in Harrisburg, just off Exit 67 of Interstate 81. Message boards and Keystone signs will direct Farm Show visitors onto alternate routes to alleviate traffic congestion on I-81. Other arteries include Route 39, Route 22/322, Route 230 and Elmerton Avenue.

Parking for spectators is available on the new off-site parking area to the east of the Complex off Elmerton Avenue (Please watch for signs off Cameron Street). This new lot is located on the corner of Elmerton Avenue and Sycamore. During the Farm Show, there will also still be parking at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). All off-site parking will be $5.00 per vehicle and will include the shuttle bus service.

Parking passes for exhibitors and vendors will be distributed by Jim Rau Supt (with your entries).

I-81 NORTH/SOUTH: There are 2 exits off I-81 that can be used to reach the Farm Show Complex.

• Main Exit: Cameron Street Exit (exit 67-A). Continue straight ahead, moving into one of the two left turning lanes. Turn left onto Elmerton Avenue. On Elmerton, merge into the right lane, the parking lot is approximately 3 blocks on the right hand side.
• Alternate Exit: Progress Avenue (exit 69). At the end of the exit ramp turn/bear right and proceed south on Progress Avenue, past the I-81 interchange, for 2 blocks; bear right a the light – this is Elmerton Avenue. Proceed ahead on Elmerton Avenue for a short distance the parking lot is ahead on the left.

I-83: Take I-83 to the Second Street Exit (exit 43). At the red light, turn right onto Paxton Street, proceed on Paxton Street 2 blocks to the next red light; Cameron Street – turn left. Continue on Cameron Street approximately 1-1 ½ miles to Elmerton Avenue and turn right, proceed to the parking lot.

PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE: Vehicles exceeding 100,000 gross pounds, or dimensions of 10’w/76’lX13’6"h are restricted from using the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

• HARRISBURG – WEST: Take the Harrisburg West Exit (exit 242) after paying the toll get on I-83 North. Follow the directions for I-83 listed above.
• HARRISBURG – EAST: Take the Harrisburg East Exit (exit 247) after paying the toll take I-283 North to I-83 North. Stay on I-83 for several miles then take I-81 south and follow the directions listed above for I-81.

U.S. ROUTE 11 & 15:

• SOUTH: Take U.S. Route 11 & 15 South to I-81 North and follow the directions for I-81 listed above.
• NORTH: Take U.S. Route 11 & 15 North to the Harvey Taylor Memorial Bridge and cross the river; proceed straight for 7 blocks to 7th Street and continue on to the second red light – Maclay Street, turn right. Proceed to the next light and turn left. Continue on Cameron Street to Elmerton Avenue and turn right, proceed to parking lot.
