Hays Family Album

My Hays ancestors left Ireland and came to the state of Pennsylvania, circa 1830, to the area of Cowanshannock/Rural Valley in Armstrong County. There they worked as farmers, hired hands and coal miners. bar image

This is a photo of my Great Grandmother Sara Jane Hays (left), who married William J. Williams. My Great Aunt, Emma Hays Harrington (right) and their mother, my 2nd great Grandmother, Sara Isabel McGranahan who married Luther Augustus Hays.
