Peter was born in Luxemburg - November 7th, 1845.
In 1846(Aug), when he was nine months old, his parents immigrated to the US -- Settling in Wisconsin. He died at the age of 78 years - August 16 1924.

Information from Peter Albert & Mary Anna's marriage certificate provided by Debra Batt - Peter's parents were Peter & Anna (Reinhard*) Tescher and Mary's parents were Matthias & Genofeva Schlattweiler.

Peter Tescher was nearly 48 years old when his youngest child (Mattias) was born, Maria was 43. Many of Mattias Tescher's children never had the opportunity to meet their grandparents, Peter and Maria.

NOTE: Through-out birth, weddings, & death records, Marys (Maria) last name was spelled several ways. On Matthias's birth certificate - Tschatwyler. On her wedding certifate - Schlattweiler. On her burial records - Schladweiler.
