"Book two of The Voyage of The Jerle Shannara" series. The crew of the Jerle Shannara have found the mysterious Castledown but are being pursued by an unknown enemy as well as the Isle Witch. Like his other books - very good!"

"The first in a new series for her. Begins fourteen years after her Assassin series. FitzChivalry Farseer has become something of a hermit and not wanting to have anything to do with the rest of the world, especially any "courtly" duties. I can't wait for the other books to come out in this series!"

"Like Totally! No story is safe where Maureen Birnbaum is concerned. This book contains either short stories, such as Maureen Birnbaum ar the Earth's Core and Maureen Birnbuam's Lunar Adventure. Its definately worth reading for laughs."

"Just one of those books I couldn't get into. About a land that has been conquered and its tribes are looking to rise up. It is foretold that one man will unite the tribes and drive the conquerers out."

by Frederik Pohl & C.M. Kornbluth
Cover art by Jack Woolhiser
Printed by Nelson Doubleday
"This was a SFBC edition, featuring the 1950's story The Space Merchants and the 1984 story The Merchants' War. I actually liked this better than I thought, especially since it is not my normal type of book to read. Its set in the future when those who do advertising are more powerful than the government."

by Anne McCaffrey

"I like Anne McCaffrey, but this book was okay. It felt like it skipped around a little and some stuff just didn't feel like it was explained enough."

by C.S. Friedman

"I've liked other books by C.S. Friedman, and this was no exception. Puts a twist on the whole Vampire myth, and gives a "what if" in that the planet Earth has been conquered by aliens. So now what happens to the Vampires?"

"The fifth book in the Earth's Children series. Just like her other books - excellant! Ayla must integrate herself into Jondalar's clan, thought it is not easy, especially with a child on the way. I hear there will be one more book to finish the series."
