page1.....me to understand you are well which leaves me at
present. Dear you begged my pardon but your pardon is always
granted and said you thought the time long but if you thought the
time as long as I did you would have wrote before. it appears to
me nearly a year cince I saw you. I never shall forget you if you
are going to see your people think it would be much pleasanter to
go a month sooner because it is so much colder there than it is
here. Please when you are writiing let me know when you heard
from home and how your people are. I was happy that you went to
see sister. I was sorry to here of Elisas illness
please let me know if there is any danger of her death for I
shaould come down a day or two. give my best respects to Mrs and Mr Mills. I have sent her a letter
but I have recieved no answer yet. Amelia

as soon as you get this. I have not felt so lonely cince I got
your letter
