Happy New Year!

Now we've reached the famous Year 2k, and even the Internet keeps working fine. This sudden approach of 2000 leads to a new job for Anke. After being at home for 4 years, she starts her job at local government tomorrow, working part time (50 percent). Michael contributed his part to this with his very, very good behaviour in kindergarten.

Christmas and New Years Eve were terrible this time because all three of us had a very bad cold during these days. Especially Anke's cold was murderous; she keeps coughing all day and night. We went to the hospital today, but the lung's X-ray didn't show anything wrong. Thank god!
While Anke was X-rayed, Michael tried to do everything grown-ups won't do at hospital: With mad laughter, he ran the floors up and down, jumped staircases and pushed all free chairs through the cafeteria. You know the sound of sliding chairs? I could swear, all the half-dead woke up. And the worst thing: There was nothing to do against it - if good or bad, Michael was unstoppable. Well, he still seems to feel comfortable at hospitals...

Thank god kindergarten starts tomorrow. They have learned how to make children tired...

We wish every visitor a Happy New Year and good luck and health for the whole new Millennium!
