Abel Ackley and Roda Ackley, his wife, of Harrison Township of the County of
Ross and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of Sixty Dollars to us paid
by Lorenzo Wesson the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant,
bargain, sell and convey to the said Wesson, his heirs, and assigns forever the
following real estate situated in the County of Ross in the State of
Ohio and in the Township of Harrison and bounded and described as follows:
Ten acres in the South West corner of the tract lying in Harrison Township of
land on which Daniel Ackley was living at his death. The ten acres being the
same which was given in his last will and testament by Daniel Ackley to Abel
Ackley which gift in the fourth clause of the Will is couched or contained in
the following words:
I give and bequeath to my brother, A. Ackley, ten acres of land off the west
end of tract of land which I now reside in Harrison Township.
To have and to hold said premises with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto
belonging to the said Lorenzo Wesson, his heirs and assigns forever and the said
Abel Ackley and Roda Ackley, his wife, for themselves and their heirs do hereby
covenant with the said Lorenzo Wesson, his heirs and assigns that they are lawfully
seized of the promises aforesaid that the said premises are free and clear from
all encumbrances whatsoever and that they will forever warrant and defend the
same with the appurtenances unto the said Lorenzo Wesson and his heirs and assigns
against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
In witness whereof the said Abel Ackley and Roda Ackley, his wife, who hereby
release their right of (unintelligible) in these premises have hereunto set
their Names and Seals this the 16th day of March in the Year of Our Lord One
Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy-One.

Ross County (unintelligible) Both remembered that on this 16th day
of March A.D. 1870 before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for
said County personally came the above named Abel Ackley (commonly known as Abram
Ackley) and Roda Ackley, his wife the grantors in the foregoing Deed and acknowledged
the signing and sealing of the same to be their voluntary act and Deed for the
uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Roda Ackley, wife of the said
Abel Ackley, being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her
said husband and the contents of said instrument being made by me known and explained
to her then declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledges the
same and that she is still satisfied therewith as her voluntary act and deed
for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.

year aforesaid
