Thelma Ward Herring, 91, died Nov. 30, 1996, in Largo, Fla.
Mrs. Herring was born May 13, 1905, in Vermontville, the daughter of






William and Julia (Ackley) Ward. She married Clair Herring and lived in
the Detroit area until retiring to Largo, Fla. She had been confined to a
nursing home after suffering critical injuries in a traffic accident in 1994,
that also took the life of her sister, Delilah Verbosky.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth of Largo, Fla.; one sister, Irma






Joppie of Vermontville; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Ward of Sanford, Fla.,
and Frances Ward of Hastings; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held in Vermontville in the spring. Interment
will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
She died on 30 Nov 1996 in Largo, Pinellas, Florida.^17,143 She was buried on 24 May 1997 in Woodlawn, Vermontville, Eaton , Michigan.^17,143 cremated
