Harry W. Ackley, 67, of Charlotte died April 18, 1995, at
his residence.
Mr. Ackley was born in Charlotte, the son of William and
Lillie (Willis) Ackley. He was a supervisor and die sinker
for Atlas Drop Forge of the Dana Corporation in Lansing,
retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Senior Citizens
and Family Golf Leagues in Olivet.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen (Jack) Faught of
Charlotte, and Pamela Pearson of Lansing; one son, Bill of
Charlotte; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jack II, and Jessica
Faught all of Charlotte, and Christopher and Bethany Ackley
of Lansing; and one niece, Delores (Gene) Patterson of
Lansing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie, in 1989.
Services were April 21 at the Pray Funeral Home,
Charlotte, with Tom Haynie officiating. Interment was in
the Kalamo Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American
Diabetes Foundation.
