Mrs. Putman was born Nov. 21, 1944, in Shamrock to Errett and Lena Ackley Harvey. She received her bachelor of education from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview in 1967. Mrs. Putman was married to Joe Dean Putman in 1967. She had been a resident of the Springtown area since 1984. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Springtown. She taught in the Saginaw and Boyd schools. Mrs. Putman was preceded in death by a brother, Muerner Harvey.
Survivors: Husband of 35 years, Joe Dean Putman; son, Richard Dean Putman and wife, Alicia, of Austin; daughter, Tami LeAnn Putman of Austin; brother, Lenis Arlee "Bud" Harvey of Bay City; grandson, Jadon Putman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
