Mrs. Sanderson was born July 17, 1921, in Lamont, Idaho, to Clarence and Dicey Ackley. She married Leon Sanderson on April 4, 1942, at her parents' home in Shamrock.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary Don Sanderson of Wellington; two daughters, Beth Ham of Elk City, Okla., and Janette Rainey of Allison; two sisters, Bessie Wright of Tyler and Ruth Cantrell of Memphis; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
