CALDWELL- Mrs. Hannah Jane MERRITT, 77 wife of Elza MERRITT, died Sunday morning at the family home east of Caldwell following a long illness.
Mrs. MERRITT was the daughter of Jasper and Ascenath Ackley Harper and was born at Dexter City. She was a life long resident of Noble county.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Caldwell.
Surviving are her husband, Elza ; a son, Harry Merritt of near Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Lahue of Canton and Mrs. Icel Walter of Richville and a brother, Obed Harper of Denver, Colorado..
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the First Church of Christ in Caldwell. Rev. Reece McGoldrick will officiate and burial will be in Olive cemetery, Caldwell.
The body was returned to the family home Sunday afternoon from the McVey-Shilling funeral home.
